 Company Overview 

L is a leading industrial machinery manufacturer producing tractors and advanced components, operating Korea’s only tractor production line. With proprietary engineering capabilities and strong market presence, the company has continued to grow both domestically and internationally. To strengthen its supply chain competitiveness, L has recently been pursuing global logistics standardization and advanced warehouse operations.

 Challenges 

L was operating with an aging WMS while also needing to address the End of Service (EOS) for its SAP WMS module. As warehouse environments expanded and logistics flows became more complex, it became increasingly difficult to manage inventory and processing activities in real time. Barcode-based tracking was limited, process information was fragmented, and the overall logistics system lacked the integration required for company-wide optimization.

 Why Woongjin and the Solution were Chosen 

Woongjin brought proven experience implementing the latest SAP S/4HANA 2022 EWM module, along with deep expertise in designing logistics processes tailored to manufacturing environments. Its track record in similar projects ensured both operational fit and system stability. For this project, Woongjin delivered a customized warehouse process capable of real-time inventory location tracking, enabling L to establish a robust, globally integrated logistics foundation.

 Key Results 

The new integrated platform allows L to monitor warehouse inventory flow and process status in real time, significantly improving inventory accuracy. Seamless connection of process-level product information enhanced quality management, while optimized warehouse workflows improved worker productivity and overall service levels. By establishing a scalable WMS platform designed to integrate with overseas sites, L has secured a foundation for advancing its future global SCM strategy.
