Jeisys Medical North America | SAP Business One Global ERP Rollout Aligned with HQ Standards

2024.12.31.

 Company Overview

Jeisys Medical is a medical device manufacturer specializing in laser and energy-based systems used in dermatology and aesthetic clinics. Its product portfolio includes IPL, RF, microneedling, CO2, Q-Switch, HIFU, and other advanced technologies. As the leading IPL brand in Korea, the company exports to more than 80 countries worldwide and has continued to expand its global presence through subsidiaries in Korea, Japan, and most recently, the United States under Jeisys Medical North America.

The U.S. subsidiary adopted SAP Business One to mirror the headquarters’ operational standards, strengthen data integrity across regions, and establish a consistent global management environment.

 Challenges

The newly established North American subsidiary did not have a system capable of consistently managing sales, inventory, service operations, or financial processes. Early stabilization was essential, along with applying headquarters-standard master data and operational policies. A reliable system was needed to support performance-based management, internal control, and accurate accounting and tax operations.

To support global sales and distribution, the subsidiary also required an integrated reporting structure that connected seamlessly with headquarters and aligned with the global ERP governance model.

Why Woongjin and the Solution were Chosen

Building on the successful SAP Business One implementation in Korea, Jeisys Medical partnered again with Woongjin for the U.S. rollout. Woongjin brought strong global ERP experience along with expertise in designing systems tailored to the North American market—particularly its complex tax structure and diverse distribution channels.

The solution included an Azure-based cloud environment, AvaTax integration for automated sales tax calculation, web-based service connectivity, and system configurations aligned with U.S. operational requirements. This enabled a stable and scalable ERP foundation suitable for Jeisys Medical’s global expansion strategy.

 Key Results

With SAP Business One, the U.S. subsidiary can now align its sales, service, inventory, and accounting operations with headquarters standards. Order-to-shipment-to-settlement workflows are processed consistently across regions, enabling real-time visibility and reliable performance tracking.

AvaTax integration streamlined compliance with U.S. tax regulations through automated tax calculation, while the cloud-based environment improved data reliability and operational flexibility. The new ERP platform unified reporting and performance management between headquarters and overseas subsidiaries, creating a scalable structure for future global data expansion and operational synchronization.
