Woongjin had extensive experience in SAP ERP implementation and management for its own global subsidiaries as well as other clients. With proven expertise in handling rollout projects for global brands, Woongjin was well-equipped to meet BorgWarner's needs. Additionally, Woongjin was already maintaining the SAP ERP system for SeohanWarner Turbo Systems, one of BorgWarner’s subsidiaries, demonstrating its ability to align with global headquarters’ standards while addressing the specific needs of Korean entities.
The introduction of the SAP ERP system greatly improved inventory accuracy, while the use of a barcode system minimized inventory-related errors. Transparency has been ensured across all stages, from order placement to shipment, leading to enhanced productivity and efficiency. Furthermore, the integration of the I/F system eliminated redundant tasks, streamlining operations. With the web-based KPI monitoring feature, executives gained real-time access to key performance indicators, enabling faster decision-making.
