Woongjin, a leader in the cloud management market, is expanding its cloud infrastructure services for small and mid-sized enterprises.
Woongjin (CEO: Suyoung Lee) announced on July 7 that it will launch a six-month free enterprise cloud infrastructure service promotion for small and mid-sized customers.
Since launching its free IT assessment service in February, Woongjin has received inquiries from more than 20 companies. After reviewing those inquiries, the company found that most mid-sized and small businesses had concerns about using cloud services, which led to the planning of this promotion.
During the free IT assessment period, inquiries about cloud adoption were the most common, and enterprise customers showed strong interest in cloud-based smart factory implementation. As government support limits increased, there were also many inquiries about adopting mission-critical SAP ERP systems and migrating to the cloud.
Reflecting demand from SME customers, Woongjin has decided to extend the free IT assessment service period and accept additional applicant companies. To support smooth cloud adoption, the company will also provide a promotion offering enterprise cloud infrastructure services free of charge for six months without a separate contract.
Companies that migrate their existing ERP solutions to SAP Business One, a cloud-based ERP for small and mid-sized businesses, can receive an additional discount on implementation costs.
The free assessment service consists largely of △ERP systems, △groupware, △servers and cloud, and △business strategy. Companies can assess the current status of their internal IT systems, identify improvement tasks, and establish a stable business strategy. They can also receive cloud operation plans optimized for their business environment, based on enhanced confidence in SAP.
Woongjin has recently stood out in the total migration field amid the growth of the Korean cloud market. Before providing IT services, the company first experiences the services as a user and then proposes service methods to customers, helping resolve difficulties that enterprise customers may face during cloud operations. For customers new to cloud services, Woongjin provides consulting by categorizing the services they need according to company size.
Yeon-kyung Choi, Executive Director of Woongjin’s SMB Business Division, said, “We are directly meeting customers and understanding the inconveniences they experience when using IT systems.” He added, “By using national support programs for SMEs together with the system design proposed by Woongjin, customers will be able to resolve their challenges.”
Any company operating an IT system can apply for the free enterprise cloud infrastructure promotion 24 hours a day through the Woongjin website and the SME Support Center inquiry page operated by Woongjin. Woongjin will accept applications for the free cloud service on a first-come, first-served basis for 20 companies until the 30th of next month, while also providing additional free assessment services for another 20 companies.
